About the Le2 Program
The Le2 TPS Approach Program assists schools and districts in the continuous improvement methodology of self-auditing and process improvement in three distinct areas: student learning, instructional practices, and resource administration and support.
At its heart, the Le2 Program provides the tools and skills for administration, staff, and students to improve value-adding activities, minimize necessary but non-value adding activities, and eliminate unnecessary non-value adding activities.
The program supports any existing district or school Continuous Improvement Program, or can be used as a stand alone CIP. While process improvement is directed at ultimately improving student learning performance, cost reduction is a generally realized secondary benefit due to the elimination of unnecessary steps and resource use through process streamlining
Education institutions in the 21st century face enormous and ever increasing challenges: decreased funding, increased performance expectations, and a call for greater accountability. There is no acceptable option for schools and districts except to successfully meet those challenges. But enhanced student performance not only is a goal unto itself; it also attracts new students, is an indicator of high quality education, and builds public image.
